SPACE 2014: 16 pig innovations awarded
In total 16 pig-related innovations will be awarded at the upcoming SPACE exhibition in Rennes, France.
Five of these are awarded with a two-star ‘Innov’Space’ award. These include:
- Big Dutchman Pig Equipment: FlexVey Pur
A conveying system from silo to farm building (Hall 7, Stand A06).
- Biomin France: BBSH 797
An antimycotoxin additive (Hall 9, Stand B40).
- Harman Carrosserie: BétH@control
Control system for cattle trucks – also optional for pigs (Open Air, Stand P23).
- Maison Bleue: Prefalice
Prefabricated concrete wall with PVC (Hall 2-3, Stand F69).
- MSD Santé Animale: Truiescope
Artificial insemination approach (Hall 5, Stand A15).
Interestingly, French feed equipment manufacturer Acemo will receive two Innov’Space Awards, one for its MasterMix automatic feeder, and one for its new Siroco ventilation equipment. Acemo can be found in Hall 7, Stand B21.
In total, when taking into account innovations for all other animal species as well, 49 innovations received awards, of which 33 received one star and 16 received two stars. During the show, a few of the best innovations will be awarded three stars.
SPACE will be held from 16-19 September in Rennes, France.
