The webinar, which will start at 3pm CET, will be organised in cooperation with Trouw Nutrition. In total, 3 expert speakers will address the audience.

Kinetics in pig nutrition

The first presentation will be given by Dr Neil Jaworski, head of nutrition, formulation and animal modelling, Trouw Nutrition. As a swine nutritionist he will delve into the question of the importance of kinetics of both protein digestion as well as dietary fibre fermentation.

Digestibility could drop in stressful situation, which could result in poorly digested starch and protein, in turn leading to diarrhoea, performance losses or mortality. He will speak about the company’s Kinetio technology which can help address those issues.

A better stomach and gut functionality

Secondly, Wim Lannoy will address the audience. He is a swine nutritionist at Trouw Nutrition, responsible for a range of countries in North Western Europe. In the discussion of piglet care and health, addressing the gut functionality can be considered as first priority. He will speak about the company’s Milkiwean Vital Start programme – and how stomach health can be the key to safe piglet performance.

Enhancing piglet health and growth

Thirdly, Tijl Vanmeenen will join in. He is technical sales manager for young animal feed for swine in the Europe-Central Asia (ECA) region.

His presentation will also zoom in on the company’s Milkiwean Vital Start programme. He will address concepts like NutriOpt, Kinetio, AminoOpt and MyFeedPrint, which can help producers and feed millers make business decisions based on solid insights and expertise.
