New French label promotes pork from France

Paul Auffray, chairman of the French federation for pork production (FNP), told Pig Progress‘ sister title Boerderij that the new label is embraced by the entire production chain, which includes retailers.

Ensuring clarity about birth place of pigs

For consumers, the label ensures clarity about France having been the place of birth of animals. This way, Auffray emphasised, guarantees are given for food safety and consumers can be sure that it is the domestic economy that will profit.
