Balancing the weaning age equation
What is the most economic age to wean piglets? The answer to this question isn’t set in stone and it is an area of pig production that is influenced by many changeable factors so needs constant review. Even in countries where a minimum weaning age is specified, it may still need reviewing to fine-tune the economics.
