US: Tyson Foods – man arrested at Iowa plant

At Tyson Foods’ a man has been placed under arrest after he allegedly displayed a hand gun, threatening co-workers at a plant in Perry, Iowa.

Authorities made the arrest on Friday and the man, Ayin Dend Ater, currently©remains in jail.

Charges
Ater has been charged with three counts of assault while displaying a weapon, and one count each of carrying a concealed weapon and going armed with intent, according to reports.

During the incident in the early afternoon, the county sheriff stated that other workers were able to convince Ater to put the gun down so they could talk. Ater faces a $10,000 cash-only bond.

Tyson Foods is co-operating with the continued investigation.
