At the annual SuperMeat and Fish Awards 2011, held in London on 7th July, Vion celebrated a successful night for the business.
In the ‘Best Sausage Product’ category, Asda’s Extra Special Pork and Sweet Chill Sausage was declared the winner, which was great news for Vion’s Fresh Sausage Team who supply the product to Asda.
Vion also supplied product for another category winner at the awards, as well as to finalists in the award categories of Best Lamb Product and Best Product New to Market. Vion’s debbie&andrew’s brand was also a finalist, in the Best Packing category.
Talking about the awards, Steve Francis, Managing Director, Vion UK’s Pork Business Unit commented: “We are thrilled that we have been recognised in not one, but two categories at such a prestigious event.
