EasyJet, a UK airline, has apologised to Jewish travellers on its flight after it served pork meat instead of kosher food.
Bacon and ham baquettes were served to the customers on the flight which was heading from Israel to London.
Apology In an apology to the customers, the airline stated, “We would like to apologise to the passengers, and can confirm we have done everything we can to ensure that this does not happen again.”
According to an airline spokesperson, incorrect food canisters were on the flight, as it is EasyJet’s policy to not load any pork products on board but to serve kosher and vegetarian sandwiches on Israel flights.
