Simple to operate but technically advanced

Cleaning pig houses between batches of pigs, at any growth stage, is good management advice. The physical aspect of high-pressure washing pig pens is less inspiring. To partially relieve stock people of this monotonous task, the Danes particularly have pursued the concept of a robotic washing unit. Last summer, Skiold-Echberg launched their automatic cleaning robot onto the Danish market. We spoke to the technician behind the electronics and a farmer who has tested the multi-cleaner.
