Russian swine fever outbreak controlled

The Russian Department of Agriculture, in a new report dated the 29 December, stated that there have been no new outbreaks of swine fever in the last 6 weeks in the country.

From August last year Russia was hit with the African strain of swine fever causing the government to impose restrictions in certain parts of the country. According to a government spokesman all signs appear to be very positive.
