Russia bans pork from Farmland Foods plants

The USDA has announced that Russia has banned pork from two Farmland Foods plants and chicken from one Sanderson Farms plant beginning July 8.

No reasons for the bans were given in the USDA report.

The affected Farmland plants are in Denison, Iowa, and Monmouth, Illinois. The Sanderson plant is in Laurel, Mississippi.
