Records broken at SPACE 2013

The 2013 edition of SPACE has broken size records this year with an anticipated 1,402 exhibitors and 67,000 m2 of exhibition surface.

In a press release the organisation points out that there are 100 more companies represented than last year. The number of companies representing themselves are 1,317 and an additional 85 companies are present by representations.



Total amount of companies from abroad is 443 (32% of the total), which represents a strong growth of 22% in comparison to the 2012 edition.



The 67,000 m2 area of show surface is an increase of 3,500 m2 in comparison to 2012. The total showgrounds complex is 115,000 m2.



In total, 64 new innovations are presented. The show organisers aim for an attendance over 100,000 people.



This year is the first edition of SPACE without its president, Jean-Michel Lemetayer. He passed away unexpectedly one month prior to the show. He was one of the co-founders of the French show in 1987.



SPACE is held in Rennes, France, from 10 through 13 September, 2013.
