Real Madrid boss into Romanian pigs

Ramon Calderon Ramos, president of the Spanish football club Real Madrid, showed interest to invest €100 million in pig farms in Southern Romania.

While his team was playing and beating Steaua Bucharest (4-1) in the Champions League this week, the president took advantage of the situation to meet the Romanina minister of agriculture, Gheorghe Flutur, together with a group of Spanish investors.
 
Investment
The investment would be done through Rupork, a Spanish company in pork production, having intentions to work with Romanian pig breeders.
 
The Spanish investors intend to found many pig farms, a fodder plant a slaughterhouse and a pork processing plant. Altogether, the investment would be generating about 1,000 jobs.
