Polish pork welcome again in Ukraine

20-02-2007 | |

Poland is allowed to export pork to Ukraine again. This had been impossible for the last eleven months ever since Ukraine banned Polish pigmeat in March 2006.

The Polish ministry of agriculture says the country’s 23 meat processors have been granted permission to export pork to Poland.

The conflict between Russia and Poland on the other hand has not been solved yet. The Russians have been banning Polish meat as from November 2005. Currently, Russian inspectors are checking the Polish meat processing companies.
