Novus International awarded 2010 Economic Progress Award
Novus International, Inc. was awarded the 2010 Economic Progress Award by the Partners for Progress of greater St. Charles County. The Partners for Progress awards recognizes businesses in the local community who have exceeded expectations.
Awards are provided annually in several areas including Health, Education and Infrastructure. The Economic Progress Award was presented to Novus at a ceremony held on June 4, 2010 at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

Novus International was selected to receive the Economic Progress Award for the company’s growth in St. Charles County, despite the current economic challenges. Novus was also selected for their leadership in sustainability, knowledge transfer and bringing international agriculture leaders to their St. Charles global headquarters.

Last year, Novus International global headquarters received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification. LEED Platinum certification is the highest energy and environmental designation available. The Novus global headquarters is one of only four buildings in the State of Missouri to receive this certification.
Novus is also committed to supporting the development of the next generation of agriculture leaders through internships and scholarship programs. Novus contributes to the Missouri College Funds and has extensive collaborations with research institutions around the world and locally, in particular with the Universities of Missouri at Columbia, Rolla and St. Louis.

Novus is a contributor to the St. Louis United Way, the St. Louis Arts and Education Council, the Japan America Society, the St. Louis Zoo, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the World Affairs Council and various other organizations and charities throughout the world, including contributions made through the Novus Employee Matching Gift Fund.

Finally, Novus has an extensive program of bringing industry leaders to the St. Charles area. In the last year, Novus supported the organization of the 2009 World Agricultural Forum Congress and© hosted customers from around the United States, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Thailand and China just to name a few.©
