The St. Petersburg Times reports that the Pulkovsky complex, which consists of a breeding centre, reproduction centre, feeding centre, fodder production plant and an educational farm, will be the largest livestock-rearing complex in the Northwest region, according to the project’s general contractor, STEP.

The new farm will be located in the village of Tarasovo in the Tosnensky district, and has a total investment estimated at US$595.5 mln.

It is anticipated that the whole project should be completed by 2012.
