New dates, new location for VIV China 2008

09-10-2007 | |

In 2008, date and place for the international animal production show VIV China will be different from the last show in 2006.

Next year, it will take place from 20 to 22 October and will be held in the New China International Exhibition Centre (NCIEC), Beijing.

Originally, the show’s dates were announced as September 26-28, 2008.

Expected growth

Reason for the change is an expected growth in 2008. The organisers of VIV feel the show has outgrown the venue where it originally started.

The new schedule no longer conflicts with the Chinese national holiday at the beginning of October.

New location
The NCIEC is located in the Tainzhu Aeroport Industrial Development Zone in the Shunyi District of Beijing. The venue is easy to reach from the capital airport and at the same time close enough to the centre of Beijing to be able to profit from the local facilities.

The new venue has the latest technology at its disposal and provides a modern and convenient lay-out of the halls.

The 2008 exhibition will emphasise two topics. Milk production and aquaculture will receive additional exposure.
