Agricultural publisher Misset is pleased to announce that as from 1 September Marieke Ploegmakers will be the new All About Feed editor.

Marieke Ploegmakers holds an MSc degree from Animal Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. Prior to joining All About Feed, she held various roles in agricultural communication, including being a journalist for the Netherlands’ leading agricultural title Boerderij, a sister title to All About Feed.

She will use the next few months to make herself acquainted with the international world of agriculture, and will make her first appearance at SPACE in Rennes, France. Ms Ploegmakers succeeds Emmy Koeleman, who recently joined Connecterra, a company focused on artificial intelligence solutions in dairy production.

Continuing publishing superior agricultural content

Roel Leferink, publishing director at Misset, commented: “We are very pleased that Marieke is joining our team. We believe she will be an excellent fit, connect well with our customers and continue to publish superior content. Our experienced, multinational team of editors will work with Marieke to further build on our market leading brands Poultry World, All About Feed, Pig Progress, Dairy Global and Future Farming.”

Misset is working on new initiatives in those markets, such as the large knowledge events ‘About Future Farming’, in cooperation with Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands (5-7 November), as well as ‘World Mycotoxin Forum Meets Asia’ in Bangkok, Thailand (13-15 January 2020).

Mr Leferink added, “We are listening to the demand of the markets all over the globe and will add additional opportunities in print, online and events to serve these needs.”
