SKIOLD France, subsidiary of the Danish group SKIOLD, announced last week that it has just taken over control of the company FAO situated in Vitré, France.
SKIOLD France, run by Régis ROBILLIARD, owns ACEMO, acquired in 1998, and which employs 100 people in Pontivy (Morbihan). ACEMO designs and manufactures equipment for the storage and handling of grain, Mill & Mix plants, and feed distribution systems for pigs and cattle.
FAO constructs, commercialises and installs full turn-key projects.
There will be no change to the structure of FAO, the actual managing director, Jean Louis Cariolot is to remain in charge.
Via this acquisition the SKIOLD group intends to further reinforce its position as a European leader in the field of grain processing and livestock feeding. FAO will in turn profit from the synergy of working with other companies within the group, and will be able to continue its development with notably access to new European and worldwide markets.
