EW Nutrition acquires MLR Innovations
With this acquisition, EW Nutrition, the world market leader in IgY technology, will continue its aggressive world-wide growth plans into the North American marketplace focusing its activities on bioactive egg proteins (Globigen®), phytobiotic plant extracts (Nutrax®), direct-fed microbials, silage inoculants and other innovative technologies for the feed industries.
EW Nutrition and its sister companies are basic manufacturers of high quality egg immunoglobulins and unique plant extracts. This technology has been scientifically proven to enhance animal performance, animal health and animal well-being. EW Nutrition’s know-how coupled with MLR Innovations strong probiotic and silage inoculant focus will create a very dynamic biotechnology business.

The EW Nutrition US headquarters will be located in Des Moines, Iowa and will conduct business under the EW Nutrition USA name. Mark Richards the former owner of MLR Innovations has been named president of EW Nutrition USA. “I am very excited about this opportunity and the technology that EW Nutrition has developed over the years. Their expertise and know how are light-years ahead of the competition,” states Mr. Richards.
