Danish pig and piglet exports rising
According to figures released by the Danish Meat Association (DMA), which appeared in the Dutch newspaper Agrarisch Dagblad, export of piglets has increased this year by 6% to a figure of 2.4 million.
Pigmeat exports have grown 30% to 526,000 in comparison to this time last year and the number of sows has grown 7% to 110,000 animals.
