Ceva’s swine team is hosting a seminar focusing on what is ‘State of the Art’ in pig production on March 10, the day prior to the upcoming VIV Asia international trade show in Bangkok, Thailand.
The company invited up to 500 key customers directly to attend the trade show. The occasion will be used to propose ‘lunch & learn’ sessions to detail so-called ‘State of the Art’ strategies for controlling major diseases impacting production such as enzootic pneumonia and pleuropneumonia in swine.
The seminar, taking place at the Centara Grand Hotel, Bangkok, will be opened by Dr Yukon Limlaemthong, former deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture of Thailand. The seminar will showcase modern techniques and strategies used in the reproductive performance in swine.
Other speakers include:
Simultaneous events are being held for broiler and layer production in poultry.
The company is focusing on the theme of ‘state of the art’, as a growing population and exploding middle class in Asia creates more demand and a world of opportunities, sustainable growth also brings new challenges. Relevant questions like how to double animal protein production using less non-renewable resources? And how to stop the spread of zoonoses and pandemics in an increasingly mobile world?
In a press release, the company states that it believes that innovation is triggered by its customers’ needs to react to and manage these changes on a daily basis.
