AB Vista to present at Eurotier conclusions from International Phytase Summit

AB Vista will present the findings and commercial implications from the first International Phytase Summit at an exclusive seminar to be held at Eurotier.

The International Phytase Summit was a unique interactive technical symposium involving many of the world’s leading academic authorities in the field of phytase and phytate in animal nutrition. Discussions ranged from the analysis of phytate and phytase, to skeletal integrity and the future of phytase use in animal nutrition.©

Commenting on the seminar, Dr. Mike Bedford, Research Director for AB Vista, said; “The Summit was a landmark event and the outcomes will radically change the way phytase and phytate are viewed. Seminar
The seminar will be held at The Convention Centre, Exhibition Grounds at Eurotier in Hannover, Germany (16-19 November 2010). The International Phytase Summit (IPS) took place in Washington DC from 28 – 30 September 2010 and was jointly hosted by Massey University, The University of Maryland, The University of Sydney and AB Vista.

Guest speaker Ralf Greiner, acting Head of the Department of Food Technology and Bioprocess Engineering at the Max Rubner-Institute in Karlsruhe, Germany and a delegate at IPS said: “The International Phytase Summit was a truly inspirational event, which brought together some of the world’s top academic authorities and I look forward to presenting the conclusions.”

AB Vista can be found on stand B06 in Hall 15, at the exhibition where members of its technical team including Tiago Santos, Dr Rob ten Doeschate, Charles Sheppy and Managing Director, Richard Cooper, along with IPS guest speaker, Ralf Greiner, will be available for interview and to discuss the findings from the Summit.
