People: New general manager for Topigs do Brasil
Topigs has announced the appointment of André Costa MSc as general manager of Topigs do Brasil, which took effect as of 1 August 2013.
Costa (43) has broad experience in pig breeding and the pig industry in Brazil. Over the past 18 years he has held various positions in pig genetics. He has worked for Topigs since 2010 as a geneticist and technical manager.
In his new position Costa hopes to contribute to the further development of Topigs in Brazil. “Taking over the general management position of a company like Topigs is both a challenge and a big opportunity.’’
Topigs do Brasil is one of the leading suppliers of pig genetics in Brazil and has its headquarters in Curitiba.
