New generation phytase with high thermostability

Adding phytase into pelleted pig feed has not been an easy job. As this kind of enzyme is at risk from the high temperatures often generated during this production process. However, increasing phytase thermostability up to 95°C has recently proven possible – without losing its effectiveness in the pig’s gut.
