Bridging the gaps with link diets

While we have a good understanding of the link between nutrition and growth in the 30kg plus pig, there is far less knowledge put into practice in the post weaning stage. Recent research and application on farm has shown that more precise starter feed programmes and specific link diets can smooth the growth rate curve and prevent dips in live-weight gains still seen on many units in the post-weaning phase.
