Breeding for piglet survival

Nowadays, pig breeding is no longer purely focused on maximum growth and large litter sizes. According to breeding organisation Topigs, breeding should be more balanced and efficient to safeguard good breeding stock in the future. One aspect of this approach is breeding for piglet survival. Alfred De Vries explains why.
