What the textbooks don’t tell you about… Avoiding wet feeding problems
At last computerised wet feeding (CWF) is taking off in Europe, with some countries approaching 50% if there pigs now switched to this system. Canada too, is showing North America the way with a ‘Wet Feeders Club’ opened up in the Ontario Province. Having been one of the pioneers of the concept back in 1960s, I have grown up with its faults as well as its benefits. No textbook I have read ever deals with the snags, so the subject falls neatly into the theme of this series.
