VIV Asia 2015, a meeting place for professionals

International and national animal protein professionals will head to Bangkok, Thailand, this March to update themselves on the advances in the industry during VIV Asia 2015.

The biannual show promises to be bigger than previous editions, with a temporary structure put in place next to the halls at the showground. This is to accommodate a larger number of exhibitors, which is expected to grow from 700 to 850.

Visitors from every continent expected at VIV Asia

“In total we expect over 35,000 animal protein professionals and associated buyers from Asia, Africa and the Middle East,” said Ruwan Berculo, VIV Asia Exhibition Manager. “In fact we think we will have people from every continent because the show has grown into such a big international event. Today it can claim to serve almost all of the world’s most promising markets for animal protein, at a time when Thailand is ready to play a major part in driving food production and supply for the new Asean trade zone.”

Conferences on offer include an egg conference

The show will also feature conferences including MeatTech organised by Asian Agribiz, an egg conference by the International Egg Commission, an animal health seminar hosted by the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations, and Pet Health and Nutrition conference by VIV Asia organisers.
