Vietnam sees Blue ear pig disease spread to 13 provinces
The Department of Animal Health in Vietnam has announced that Blue ear pig disease has made its way to 13 provinces. Recently, the disease has been discovered in Da Nang City.
Recently, Hoa Khuong and Hoa Lien communes of Da Nang City are where the disease was found – 92 pigs were discovered to be infected with the disease, according reports.
9 districts in the province is known to have 13,377 infected pigs, while 5,598 infected pigs were destroyed, the department stated.
