Upbeat about EU-25 pork trade prospects

After successfully growing from 6 to 15 members, the EU is now undergoing its biggest enlargement ever in terms of scope and diversity. Economists are still uncertain about what effect the accession of 10 new states will have on the EU’s meat trade generally, but they do all agree that pigmeat is likely to enjoy the greatest benefits.
