Programmer addresses the sow and the piglet
BPEX Head of Knowledge Transfer Dr Mike Varley said: “We hope producers will come away with new ideas to help boost farrowing performance, which is the current focus area in our drive to achieve the two-tonne sow target.
“The programme addresses the needs of both the sow and the piglet. We will be looking at how sow nutrition can be managed to ensure piglets get off to a good start along with practical solutions for newborn management to maintain a strong, full litter through to weaning.”
The conference starts at 14.00 each day and will conclude with a hot buffet. Attendance is free for producers and there is a charge of £20 per delegate for non-producers.
NOTE: Please remember to specify which date you are registering for.
The closing date for registrations is 11 March 2011.
