Pig imports banned in Cambodia

The import of live pigs has been banned in Cambodia due to fears of blue-ear pig disease, according to the Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Hundreds of pig deaths
The disease has already been the cause of hundreds of pigs in the country. The Prime Minister stated that the disease is spreading in the country.

The disease has also been discovered in its neighbouring country Vietnam.
