Jan T. Pedersen, Agromek’s Exhibition Manager, has decided to retire at the end of June this year.
“I had planned to retire after Agromek 2012, which will be held during the period 27th to 30th November. I have decided to retire sooner after having had an attack of thrombosis earlier this year. Even although I have recovered well from this problem, I do not expect to be able to work full time for a period,” stated Jan T. Pedersen.
He will, however, continue to act as a consultant for the Exhibition.
Jan T. Pedersen is also the Manager of the Danish Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery organisation. He will, simultaneously, retire from this position.
Jan T. Pedersen took over the daily management of Agromek in 1993. Since that date he has been successful in maintaining and expanding Agromek’s status as the largest exhibition of agricultural machinery in Northern Europe.
Agromek is owned by the Danish Agriculture and Food organisation and the Danish Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery organisation.
The position as Manager for Agromek and as Manager of the Danish Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery organisation is now vacant for applications and is anticipated to be filled soon.
