PEOPLE: J.J. Mallo to be technical and commercial director, Norel

Animal nutrition company Norel appointed Juan José Mallo as new global technical and commercial director for additives, on March 12, 2012.

An agricultural engineer from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain, Mallo started in the industry as a researcher in the Netherlands, where he conducted trials in swine, broiler and hen nutrition.

He joined the company in 2007 as product manager for probiotics and monogastrics. Later in 2010 he was appointed technical director at Norel, leading in the last year more than 40 research projects, developing 33 implementation projects and successfully launching six new commercial concepts.

Besides, Mallo has a good knowledge of the industry thanks to his visits to clients, his participations in scientific congresses and commercial exhibitions. His professional and personal skills together with his commitment to his work have provided him this appointment.
