People: Cargill’s Provimi team grows in Europe

Cargill’s Provimi has made new appointments to their sales and technology teams.

Hans Moolenaar has been appointed area sales manager for Germany, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe. His key responsibility is to develop and execute the commercial strategy and lead the region’s commercial team. After studying mechanical engineering at the Delft University of Technology Moolenaar joined Cargill as a technical management trainee and during the past 17 years, he has held a number of technical and commercial positions within the company.

Franko van Lankvelt has joined as key account manager. Based in head office in Rotterdam (NL) and in Nistelrode (NL), Franko works within the Provimi sales team where he is involved in promoting Provimi products to feed companies in the Netherlands. He travels throughout the Netherlands visiting clients and potential clients. He completed a degree course at the Agrarische Hogeschool, in Den Bosch. Since then, Franko has worked in technical functions and in sales before becoming sales manager swine at De Heus Voeders for the south of the Netherlands.

Brendan Emery has been appointed business development manager for the UK and Ireland. Emery completed a Higher National Diploma in farm enterprise management at the Scottish Agricultural College in Aberdeen. He then gained experience in the livestock industry as an animal health sales specialist before moving on to become regional cattle sales manager for an international pharmaceutical company. He furthered his career by taking on the role of country manager for the company’s business in Indonesia.

Annamaria Marangoni has joined as a technology application swine specialist for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. She will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, training the sales teams and new product launches. After specialising in science at high school, Annamaria studied animal science at the veterinary school of Udine University. Raised in Trentino-Alto Adige, above Lake Garda in Italy.
