Paris getting ready for Porcine Research Days

The French capital of Paris will be the scene for the next Porcine Research Days (Journées de la Recherche Porcine), held 2 and 3 February in the Espace du Centenaire.

The event is organised by the IFIP (French institute for pig research) and the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA).

At the event, last results in animal nutrition research will be presented, just as issues related to hygiene, meat quality, economics and sociology, environment, management, welfare, reproduction and genetics.

In addition, R&D people will be present, both from the public and the private sector, just like decision makers from the feed, pharmaceutical, breeding industries and cooperatives.

Attendance
In total more than 600 visitors are expectes from several different, predominantly French-speaking countries, like France, Belgium, Canada. In addition, guests from Italy and Spain are welcomed. Simultaneous translation in English is available.
