New technical manager for AB Vista team in Germany
AB Vista has expanded its European team with the appointment of a new technical manager who will be based in Germany. Petra Philipps joined the company in May 2010 and will provide support to key customers and distributors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to providing technical support, Philipps is responsible for managing product evaluations and development trials, as well as generating and executing sales and marketing plans in conjunction with the sales teams. She reports to Ari Kiviniemi, global sales director.

Philipps joins AB Vista from DSM Nutritional Products, where she spent seven years in the research centre for Animal Nutrition & Health in Village-Neuf, France. Here, she was responsible for poultry research, specialising in enzymes, carotenoids, vitamins and eubiotics. Prior to this role, Philipps gained ©a PhD in animal nutrition at the University of Bonn, Germany, where she also worked for three years in the Agricultural Research & Laboratory Centre.
