New H1N1 case in Australian pig farm

A Piggery in the Australian state of Queensland has been quarantined after it returned positive tests for H1N1.

Testing for confirmation of the influenza A H1N1 virus is currently taking place, after the positive tests were submitted to Biosecurity Queensland last night.©

Biosecurity Queensland spokesman said pig meat products were still safe to eat, and no pigs had recently left the property.
