The Canadian company Jefo Nutrition, based in St Hyacinthe, Quebec, this week celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The company’s history started in 1982, operating from the home of founding president Jean Fontaine. Nowadays, the company services the feed industry by a warehousing facility, dedicated trucking, transloading, distribution and innovation.

Presence
The company has a presence in five continents, exporting to 55 countries worldwide and entered the US marketplace over a decade ago. The privately held company has 100 employees and 47 distributors and partners worldwide.

Over 520 people from 19 countries gathered together at this week’s gala event. David Mair, vice-president, and Jean Fontaine himself reviewed the company’s history and provided a glimpse of Jefo’s plans for the future.

Canada’s minister for agriculture, fisheries and food, Laurent Lessard, also joined in the festivities.
