Bulgarian animal health company Huvepharma will soon move into pharmaceutical products as well.

The company introduced its new line of products at a press conference in Durban, South Africa, preceding this year’s edition of the International Pig Veterinary Society (IPVS) congress.

Three new products
In total, the Bulgarian company adds three new products to its portfolio: based on tylosin, called Pharmasin; tiamulin (Vetmulin); and tilmicosin (Tilmovet). All products will become available as water soluble graules, medicated feed premixes, oral granules and injectibles. In addition, the last two will also be available as a water soluble solution.

These products will become available not only for pigs, but also for poultry.
Being a manufacturing enterprise with plants in Bulgaria, Huvepharma has already produced some of these products for some while, but will now also market them itself.

Portfolio
Huvepharma set up its European marketing activities in Antwerp, Belgium in 2005. The company’s portfolio currently consists of anticoccidials, enzymes and microflora managers.
