The European Association of Porcine Health Management (EAPHM) has launched a new website at www.eaphm.org.
The organisation was founded in May 2009 during the second European Symposium of Porcine Health Management.
The association wishes to invite everyone who is professionally active in pig production (practice, research, diagnostics, education, industry, etc.) to become a member of the EAPHM. All information for membership registration can be found on the website.
Subscription includes:
• The proceedings of the yearly symposium.
• A reduced registration fee for the yearly symposium.
• Access to all the facilities of the website (with news, publications, etc.).
Diplomates of the European College of Porcine Health Management become automatically member of the association, although they are kindly asked to complete their registration data on the website. This will be possible within two weeks.
The association hopes to improve standards for pig health and production and to represent the interests of all pig veterinarians in Europe.
The EAPHM board consists of John MacKinnon, president; Peter Høgedal, vice president; Dominiek Maes, secretary; Jean-Luc Sevin, treasurer; and Antonio Palomo Yagüe.
