Efficacy of antimicrobial agents for PCS control (Special 2005)

In the last decade, major advances colitis have led to recognition of Brachyspira pilosicoli as a cause of porcine colonic spirochaetosis (PCS). This article reviews current information on the in vitro and in vivo efficacy of various antimicrobials against the bacteria that causes the enteric disease PCS.
