Danish pig industry faces turbulent times

Cooperative solidarity amongst Danish pig farmers in under high pressure. The difference in product prices between Denmark and Germany has been too great, causing more and more Danish pig farmers to turn their backs on the cooperations. However, the long 12-month term of notice and sanctions upon returning to the cooperation may work as a deterrent.
