Cuba debate pork production and environment

Latin American and European experts attending a seminar in Havana this week will be addressing the relationship between pork production and environment.

Alfred Crespo, Director of the Cuban Pork Institute, told Prensa Latina that about 250 experts from Venezuela, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and other nations will be attending the seminar.

The event which will be held at the Capitol Convention Center from May 27th to 30th will be attended by researchers, pig breeders, higher-education masters, students, experts and officials from institutions, organizations and enterprises dealing with pork production.

Food production, genetics and reproduction, facilities and management and local breedings are further issues on the agenda.
