CSF in Russian wild boar

Veterinary authorities in Russia have reported a case of Classical Swine Fever (CSF) to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

Measures have been taken to curb the spread of the disease which was so far found in the wild boar population.

A report made by Russian authorities to the OIE on October 7th stated that the disease was present in Kotovsky in the Volgogradskaya region.
