CPF shifts to bulk trading for pork

In a bid to promote the CP brand, Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) has shifted its bulk trading of chicken and pork into packages with the CP logo, aimed at achieving a sustainable sales growth of 10-15% of more premium-quality consumer goods.

This move is a bid to become a “global quality brand”, reports Somsak Hongsrichinda, CP senior vice president for modern trade.

“We are working towards our goal to become a global brand as the food segment food solutions manufacturer, assuring consumer food safety from the farm to the table,” he says, adding that the “new strategy was devised after CP’s market survey proved that  this year are expected to grow by 10-15% to
