African swine fever has been discovered in Kaliningrad, Russia. The discovery has been confirmed by the Russian inspection agency Rosselkhoznadzor.
The virus has been found in wild boars that have been shot on February 2nd in the Pravdinski region. Also, the virus has been found in pigs that are in backyard farms in a town near Kostjoekovka.
