African Swine Fever discovered in Russia

Some hogs in the north of Russia were found to be affected with African Swine Fever.

The region affected is Murmansk, where the whole herd of 21 with ASF has now been slaughtered.
 
Previously cases of ASF were confirmed in southern Russia. Veterinarians are currently looking into the matter further.
