AB Vista, global supplier of new generation micro-ingredients for the animal feed industry, is lending its name and support to the 12th International Symposium of Digestive Physiology of Pigs (DPP) – one of the world’s biggest conferences on pig nutrition.

The event is being held from 30 May to 1 June 2012 in the mountain resort of Keystone, Colorado, US in easy reach of Denver International Airport.

As one of the DPP 2012’s silver sponsors, AB Vista’s name and logo will take pride of place across a range of conference materials, reinforcing the company’s expertise in the field of animal nutrition.

The first DPP conference took place in Reading, UK, in 1979, with subsequent events happening every three years in France, Denmark, Poland, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden, Canada, Denmark and Spain respectively. Attracting participants and scientific papers from around the world, DPP 2012’s scientific programme will focus on the digestive tract of the pig, emphasising physiology, immunology and microbiology.

Dr. Pete Wilcock, technical manager in North America, AB Vista, said: “We are delighted to be silver sponsors of such an important conference, which promises to review the latest advances in the field of swine digestion, providing the basis for future research.”
