South Korea have confirmed four more cases of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) bringing the total number since first reported to 13.
Last week, 19 December, four more cases of FMD were confirmed at 3 pig farms in Cheongju, Eumseong and Jincheon, all in North Chungcheong Province, and a pig farm in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
Since the first reported outbreak on the 3rd of December 2014, at a pig farm in Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province, 14491 animals have been destroyed.
